Please make sure you are happy with your mix or project and you read our Exportation Guidelines and our Terms & Conditions before you order to make sure we can process your work efficiently. We are however not going to let you or ourselves look bad so once we start the job if we find anything that needs changing that we can not fix during mastering then we will talk to you at that point to help you adjust it at your end and send us a new mix before we carry on. We say to place the order before we check the mix as 90% of the time any issues arise once we have started to run the track through our hardware and thus have actually started the job.

A new service that started in 2018 is our ReMastering option from old files where you are unable to obtain an original mixdown. This could be one of your own tracks or a track that you are no longer able to purchase or obtain and you dont have a decent sounding master of it. You can supply us with anything from a WAV to a lo rate MP3 file. We will know straight away if it is workable so that we are able to return you a good enough quality master to play out. If we think we are unable to do the job we shall just refund your money straight away. We would rather save you your money than tarnishing our name.

Stereo Mastering:

We have a slight discount scheme in place for the analogue stereo mastering in which the first stereo master of any one order is £25 but additional tracks in that order are priced at £20 each. If you have a radio edit or instrumental in which the original version is already in the same order then these will be £12.50 each (Not valid for the ReMastering or Digital service). All tracks have to be paid for and sent at the same time for the discount to be valid.

Stem Mastering:

After much thought and debate we have brought Stem Mastering back in 2019. This time we have decided to be strict on stem amounts, which is a maximum of 10 stems, and keep it to what it truly is about. A stem master is not a mixdown, it is in place to give extra control on a few elements if needed. The main key for us when taking stem master orders is that you keep the kick drums on their own stem and the bass or sub bass on its own stem. These are generally the most problematic areas that need attention outside of a home or even a professional recording studio. Further advice from us as to what would be a good idea to keep on their own seperate stems are organs, pianos or keys and all the vocals on one stem.

Other available options are a 2 stem master (vocal over an instrumental) and a 3 stem master (kicks stem, bass/sub stem, rest of track) to help with the main problem areas often found from home setups.

Remember, this is not a mixdown session, we will reject projects with multiple vocal stems thinking we will just get on with it.

If you would like a full mixdown we have a engineers that we can recommend that would be suitable for your genres.

Please can put the link to your premasters in the box provided during the ordering process or send them via wetransfer.com to stu@sestudios.co.uk so we do not miss them.

Turn around times are generally well within 7 days for stereo masters but stem masters can take around 2 weeks. Large projects can also take longer but please fell free to ask and discuss time scales before ordering. If we start to get really busy we will put an announcement on the home page.

Payments can be made via our cart below using Paypal, which also accepts card payments if you do not have a Paypal account, or by bank transfer. If you wish to pay by bank transfer please contact us and we will send you our details.
